The Nursery
In our nursery we take care of children aged 6 months to 3 years. At the time being we have 3 groups with 12 children in each group.

Opening Hours
Full day: 6.40 am to 6 pm
Morning: 6.40 am to 2 pm
Afternoon: 2 pm to 6 pm
Fridays: 6.40 am to 5 pm
Childcare for an Hour or two at a time
Between 2 pm and 6 pm we can take care of your children for an hour or two at a time; the fee for one afternoon is € 10, beverages included.

7.00 am to 8.15 am Free playing time
8.15 am to 8.45 am Breakfast
8.45 am to 9.00 am Changing diapers
9.15 am to 10.15 am Playing in a nearby park
10.15 am to 10.45 am Activities (crafting etc.)
10.45 am to 11.00 am Changing diapers
11.00 am to 11.30 am Lunch
12.00 am to 2.00 pm After-lunch nap
2.30 pm to 3.00 pm Snacks
3.00 pm to 3.15 pm Changing diapers
3.15 pm to 5.00 pm Free playing time (in a nearby park if the weather is good)
5.00 pm to 5.15 pm Snacks
5.15 pm to 5.30 pm Changing diapers
5.30 pm to 6.00 pm Free playing time, Closing time
Our educational goals
- toilet training (using the toilet, washing hands)
- language training (Listening comprehension, looking at picture books)
- early musical education (listening to songs and singing along, playing of Orff instruments)
- physical education (sports, dexterity excersises, crafting)
- developing independence (the children learn to put on and take off clothes, as well as to eat on their own)
Meals
You provide your children with breakfast and snacks. We serve beverages and a warm lunch suitable for children. If your children have to keep a special diet we will see to it.
Overnight stays
For only €11 (including dinner and breakfast) your children can stay overnight in our nursery on every last weekend of the month.
Of course our nursery teachers will look after your children. The overnight stay begins on Friday at 5 pm and ends on Saturday on 10 am.
If you have not concluded a contract with us, you will have to pay €25 for each of your children you would like to stay overnight. If you do have a contract with us you only have to pay €15 for your children’s brothers and/or sisters.

Holidays
The Kinderhaus Laterne is closed for 30 working days a year: Christmal Holidays, Pentecost Holidays, and three weeks in August.
